90 300TE 4Matic Heater Fan Motor Replacement

90 300TE 4Matic 158K. The bearings on the heater fan are squealing and I'd like to replace the motor. How do I access the fan motor? Does it require any special tools?

I recently aquired the car. Aside from the factory manuals, what aftermarket manuals are recommended? Thanks
