w123 ebrake diy?
Ebrake pads are super worn,now ive never done these,the springs confuse me.
Anyone? pictorial?? |

they are not as bad as they seem, the 123 chassis is very straight forward. If it's your first time, just do one side at a time, and leave the other side as a reference. Take some pictures of the assy before and as you take it apart, and like I do, lay the springs out in the order you take them off. Check your cables to, they do tend to get stiff after all those years, and if your shoes are really worn, could be a sign they are hanging up. Usually these shoes hardly wear as they are not supposed to be in contact with the inside of the rotor. I'm still on my original set of Ebrakes on my '82 TD, with over 300K on it.
