92 400E electronic weirdness
 

Today my 1992 400e lost all gauge sand the ABS and ASR lights came on; and there is a slight electric whine that goes away when you turn on either signal. The whine sounds similar to the noise that happens when your seat belt is not plugged in. We had heavy rain and humidity for past 30+ hours which has previously caused all kinds of electric voodoo which just goes away on it's own. My wife swears that it all happened directly after the gas attendant failed to put the gas cap on fully. All of the fuses seem to be intact and the car is running normal. Anyone have any ideas?
