sounds like I have an alarm!
Good day all,
I was poking around my engine, blowing out the idle valve, lubricating the throttle linkage.......Man I gotta go wake up the wife. Be back in a bit! Ok then, I spied a horn (looks stock) for the alarm I didn't know I had. Read some previous posts that delt with some common problems however could find no info on how to arm/disarm the system. I got it to sound once by locking the drivers side door with the valet key before the passenger door was closed. Or something to that effect? All the alarms I have had in the past were aftermarket and came with a remote (pretty self explanatory). Could someone be so kind and give me a clue as to how to operate this new found gizmo? __________________________________________ Brian 1989 300E (157K) It takes a big dog to weigh a ton |

It is armed/disarmed...
everytime you lock/unlock your car with the key. Just try to steal your own car to see if it works
