190e headlight replacement

headlights were poor on my 1986 190e and perlaced them with new stock headlights. After a week of driving realized not much better than what I had. Not wantint to retrofit to HID and upgrade the wiring, purchased a set of Hella after market headlights for about $90. Well worth the money made a very nice improvement.

The 86 would have come with the rectangular sealed beam lights, so did you just replace the original sealed beam bulb with a Hella bulb?

The later models came with the replaceable halogen bulbs, but the best "bang for the headlight buck" are the "e-code" units.
