limping home

85 380 SE with 250,000 miles..

Ran fine on the way to work today, secondary trip to hospital was fine... at end of the work day it started to lose power on take off.. made a couple stops, and then there was no acceleration...Starts just fine, and when you finally struggle up to speed (Thankfully only two stop lights between work, and home 20 miles) it seems to run fine...until you stop again..

Ordered fuel filter today, hoping that fixes it..

Any other suggestions?

After rewinding tapes in my memory over the last week or so, noticed a little less get go, when I had to punch the gas pedal... thought little of it, at the time...

Guessing Hildegarde was trying to tell me something, but I just wasn't listening...

will replace fuel filter this weekend..
