Talking Brakes make you stop

Car In question = 1988 560SEC

Or at least until they stop. recently my brake pad light started coming on and I've decided its time to do a disc and pad job on this machine. What im curious about is do you guys recommend a brand that's a good stock replacement? do you recommend a good brand thats an upgrade from stock. such as some vented or slotted discs. Which pads make less brake dust? is there anything I should probably replace while im at it? I tend to drive the car pretty hard through the mountains on an almost daily basis so stopping power is a plus for me. So far ive done most of the suspension, new H&R springs and Bilstien HD's . tires. motor work ect. now its time to make this freekin panzer stop on a dime

Guru's i call forth your knowlage and expertice.

Thank You,
Dan

Akebano (sp?) pads if you can get them for your car.

I put them on my 210 after getting tired of cleaning wheels every other day. What a difference they make. Now they are on the 202 as well. Soo to be on all of them.

Thank you very much for the information WayBomb. that is also something i hate doing, scrub the car till it shines only to have the front wheels dirty after one commute to work
