Vibration when off the gas and off brake
I just did a brake swap on my 190E to the E420 calipers and rotors and noticed an interesting vibration problem with the car.
on the freeway when I was preparing to exit, I let off the gas and noticed a pretty bad vibration coming from the car (not sure where exactly its coming from). I also noticed that the vibration goes away when I apply the brakes as well. it seems independent of the drivetrain as well because when I put the car in neutral and coast, it vibrates, but once i apply the brakes, vibration goes away. any idea what is wrong? I plan to check the wheel lugs again, maybe I tightened them incorrectly. |

Assuming you did everything correctly, maybe the hub/spindle of the 190 is not designed to take the beefiness/weight of the 420 calipers? Just guessing. Do you know of someone else who did this? Is this why you tried it?
