how to change pads on 93 400sel

New to forum. I have a 93 400 SEL and would like to know difficulty of changing the front pads. I change all the pads on my American made vehicles but Mercedes just not quite sure. Do I have to take caliper off to access pads?
Any information would be helpful

If the 140 is like the 124, then it is quite easy, and you do not have to take the caliper off. You remove (pull out) the brake wear sensors, tap out the two pins, catch the spring clip, and the rest is straightforward. See the "resources" link above, and scroll to the 124 brake job article. Be sure and get any of the brands that MB uses, other brands can be too tough on the rotors and/or squeal. (I like Textar)
