s-320 rear windows

My 1994 S320 rear windows on both sides have problems. I can lower them alright, but had to repeatedly (more than 20 times) push the button to get them closed. This car has been seldom used, with only 40,000 miles on odometer, and the two rear windows were almost never used in the past 14 years. Can anyone tell me how to take off the rear door inner panel so that I could take a look of the window regulator system? Will a simple lubrication solve the problems?
Thanks

depending on how big/bad the dents are, you may be able to rent a dent puller from your local auto supply store. if the glass is down, it will be in the way of popping the dents out from the inside. you would have to remove pretty much all the inner workings of the gate to get at the outer skin from the inside.

I have a similar problem on my W124 300CE. The windows go up and down okay but they seem a bit slow. I too am wondering if there is an easy fix for this or if I will have to take the whole door liner apart.

Coupe windows are slowed down significantly because of the lack of a window frame.
