Question about detaching control pressure cable
I'm almost to the point of removing the cylinder head to replace the gasket. The manual says to detach the control pressure cable. My question is, Does the cable snap off like a ball and socket, or is it fasten some other way?

Sorry,
Its a '91 300 CE, M104. I've got the cable off and the cylinder head out. I've taken the head to the machine shop and I'm now going to replace the water pump as recommended those on the forum. I didn't see a 10mm bolt on the underside of the intake manifold and bent the flange so that I could not access it. I had to take a sawzall and cut the flange. Will I need to replace that pipe or can I just live with it? Any other advice that you could give me would be greatly appreciated! |
