2003 CLK CAB (208) AC quit & AUX Fans on HIGH?
75 degrees in Florida, my wife is driving 2003 CLK CAB (208) with the AC on.
She said the AC stopped working and all of a sudden e aux fans came on in HIGH mode. There is no response or display from the AC Heater controls it is off. I jumped in, sure enough the fans start running on high and the temp needle to me seems to be running a touch high... I check every fuse no issues, check the coolant level fine, I have searched to try and find any info I can.....I did come across a post referencing low AC charge causing Aux fans to go into high mode ( for a 210).... I let the car cool off for several hours and when I start it....no AC display and the fans start up again. Any idea, they are greatly appreciated. Thank you. |

Fuses # 20 & # 26 supply power the the a/c controller.
IF they are good & have power then the controller itself is the most likely issue!
