Dash Security light
On my wife's 1995 E300D there is a little light on the dash above the A/C control. It's one of the black rectangle things where the head rest, re-cir, rear dome lights are.
I looked in the manual and all it says is that it's a security light. What makes it turn on? I locked the car with the key and nothing. The light on the radio flashes but the dash light just sits there. Any ideas? I realize this is not on the top ten list of issues to be fixed on any car but I am curious why it does not work or what makes it work. Thanks
