New member of the 210 "burst evaporator club"...

Well, I think my evaporator has split as I have heard others have done... For some time now, I've had a small leak in the system somewhere but I wasn't sure where it was. Later, I read about the guy that did the great write up with pictures on removing the dash assembly to replace his evaporator.

I had been smelling an odd odor coming from the vents every morning and then put two and two together when I was adding a shot or r134 to the system to bring it back up to specs. When I released the remaining pressure in the can, I got a whiff of the same odor as I was smelling from the vents...

Looks like I have this job ahead of me. Is there anything I should go ahead and replace while I'm in there? My dash has a couple cracks in it - is it worth it to replace it or are they pretty costly?

Thanks.
