E320 diag codes

1995 E320 hesitates and runs rough. It has 180k. I changed the engine wiring harness about 3 years ago. I just put a new MAF sensor. My diag codes are.
code 10

Pin 8 4,13

Pin 14 2,5,11

I am going to put new non resister plug and coil to plug connectors in tomorrow. I dont think thats the problem. Its also coughs through the air box. I can here on acceleration. Please help.

Dave

Code 10 in the DM is relating to the mass air flow sensor
Codes 4 & 13 in the fuel ECU are also about the mass air flow sensor.

code 5 in the EA is related to the brake lamp switch & most "likely" has caused the other 2 codes

You may have some spurious codes. Try clearing the codes and reread them in a few days. See which codes reappear.

Try a search for the codes. They've been posted dozens of times.

Also try searching the posts made by Arthur Dalton.

MAF was Meyle german replacement. I changed the plugs and plug connectors and what a big difference. But still a small hesatation about 2100 rpm on accelaration. I guess I had more than one problem. Just wondering maybe I should check the fuel pressure?. First ill wait and see what codes come back.

B/C the plugs and connectors made a big difference, I would now reset the memory on pin 8 to get back to mean . Then run it and look for further codes.
