How to remove Axels?

Hello,

I am trying to remove the axles, but they dont want to budge out of the diff. Did I miss something? Are they supose to slip out of the CV boot, or does it come out as an asembly with the CV joint together? want kind of force will it take?

Any help or direction would be great.

Thanks

There is a locking C-clip inside the differential that must be removed from the end of the splined shaft. You have to drain the diff and pull the rear cover to get to it.
