I Want a Fuel Pressure Gauge; Any Suggestions?
Hi,
I want to purchase a fuel pressure gauge, and I’m looking for suggestions on which one to buy. I’d like to find one that would accommodate my current fleet; 1989 300SEL, 1993 300E, 1999 ML320, and a 1998 VW Passat. Do you guys have any suggestions? Do you know of anything in the Sears/Craftsman line that would work for me? Thanks for the help. |

For the mix of cars you have, sounds like you need something to do 0-100 psi with at least a 1psi level of accuracy.
A good CIS gauge kit (guage, hoses and adapters) can do it and should something between 75 and 100$US. However, I'm not sure what the right set of fittings is for that VW, but the CIS kit should be fine for the mercedes. -CTH PS. There's a CIS kit for rent in the tools section. Take it for a test spin. Last edited by cth350; 02-20-2009 at 10:57 AM. Reason: PS |
