I just replaced plugs, wires, etc because I noticed a rough idle. It only misses when sitting still, once you start to drive it, it evens out. Took it to the shop, but all he did was turn up my air/fuel mixture, which solved the idle problem, but now idles at 1100 rpm. Don't think he solved the problem, just put a band-aid on it and now I still have the problem, and it is running real rich. How do I go about adjusting the idle back down, and what should I look for when searching for the miss? I've always worked on cars with a carb, so any helpful suggestions would be great. Also seems to smell like gas all the time now. Help!!!

Check for vacuum leaks (air leaks) and also check all of the injectors. They most cause this problem.
