ASR

I have a 95 s600 I found the mass air harness to be melted togeather will this cause the asr light to come on and does anyone know where I can get both new mass air harnesses thanks for any input on this my car runs like crap thanks

Best bet is the dealer- They sell a little rebuild kit. dont bother messing around with any thing else- Its not that expensive.

I actually would like to completely disable the asr I have read about clipping wires and such could someone please help my cars sux to drive and i used to love it

I don't believe there is such a thing as a mass air harness.

Air mass wiring harness repair kits are available for M120 motors 1992-95 & S320's from 1992-1996. Most likely a dealer only part.

Won't fix the ASR problem!

Just my opinion, but fix the ASR, probably less hassle than disabling it and the light and you'd still have the electronic throttle to deal with.

I like my ASR cars, the amount of power your car has without ASR can be a pain, especially in the rain.

How would I go about diag. asr. Would my mass air problem affect that. Thanks for any help.

Yes, the air mass problem (fused wiring) can be directly related to your ASR problem. Fix that problem first, and then see if the ASR problem is still there.
