I have a '92 300CE and recently had some kids in the back putting up the headrests. When I hit the headrest release button on the front panel nothing happens.

Could it just be the switch or should I consider other things as well?

The car has to be running, just wanted to make sure that you new that. Open the trunk and look and see if a vacume hose came off.

Yup, it was cause my son did not have the car running. Stupid us.
