Experience with new Bilstein EconoTC/Touring shocks/struts?

Any experience with the new half-HD prices new Bilstein twin tube(Touring) as opposed to the more expensive mono tube design(HD),
Could be useful in this ECONOmical downturn.

This is a way that Bilstein can compete with a cheaper shock, like Sachs/Boge sells. NOT worth the savings over the long run!! Short term they are fine.
