Deactivating the beep when locking car

I can't seem to find this in the owner's manual - does anybody know how to deactivate the beep(s) when I lock and unlock a 2009 S550?

Stop by your dealer and ask them to de-activate it for you. It only takes a few minutes. I do this for clients all the time. In case you're interested, the volume of the "beep" is actually adjustable, so you can have them set it to your liking, or turn it completely off.
