My 2001 C 240 has about 20,000 miles so far. While accelerating, I notice that the engine emits more noise than before. It sounds "gruff"; not as smooth as before. The noise is more prevalent when accelerating from 50mph to 55mph. I wonder if this is part of the wearing process, as more mileage is driven overtime.
