210 intrument cluster removal
 

I did a search and did not see anything in the titles that looked promising.

Anyway, my dad would like know how to remove the cluster. He has a 2002 E320 210 body.

If anyone has a picture (like the shop manuals) that would be great.

Mine pulls right out with grapling ice hook type ended wires inserted into each side of the cluster. Easy as pie. Would assume the newer ones are pulled the same way.

Man, that takes lotsa guts. I'd be afraid to do it just because I'd probably end up with a squeek and have to do it all over.
