bad seal on master cylinder?
On my 1983 300D the reason im loosing fluid is the little seal between the master cylinder and the fluid reservoir. This has caused the fluid to leak out slightly and become low. Ive added fluid 3 times in last month. Can i just replace this seal or the reservoir? Or does the entire master cylinder need replaced. The brake pedal and brakes work fine. Any comments would greatly be welcomed!

THE RES. COMES OF BY PULLING STRAIGHT UP(WATCH FOR BRAKE FLUID SPLATTER ON PAINTED SURFACES)
REPLACEMENT BUSHINGS RUN ABOUT $1.87 EA. MAKE SURE NONE OF THE OLD BUSHINGS REMAIN IN MASTER CYL. POP THE NEW ONES INTO MASTER CYL. AND PRESS RES. BACK INTO PLACE,REFILL WITH FRESH FLUID AND YOURE DONE! MF |
