Sun roof sensor

I have a 1999 C280 and the sunroof is not working correctly. I took it to my local MB dealer and was told that the sensor was bad and had to be replaced at a cost of $475.00. Can anyone tell me where this sensor is located? Before I make this a DIY project I like to know what I am getting into.
