Purchased W201 Bosch euros without bulbs - what do I need?
I recently purchased a set of W201 Bosch euro headlights from a fellow forum member, but they came without bulbs. He's not sure what bulbs the housings require. I sent Daniel Stern Lighting a query e-mail two weeks ago, but have not heard back from him/them.
What bulbs do I need to purchase? I'd like to keep the fog light feature, as it is more useful to me than having daytime running lights. What is the highest wattage bulbs that are safe for the Bosch housing? I don't want to burn or melt the housings. Are 85/80 okay, or should I stick with 70/65 or even 60/55? What are European "OEM" wattage's? Thank you.

Headlights are H4, fog lights are H3.
Forget about high wattage bulbs and just use some of the +50% bulbs. These in fact are available also at +80 (Phillips, better) and +90 (Osram). These + bulbs are new tech and achieve more light at same 55/65 wattage and therefore are safe heatwise and legalitywise. See http://www.powerbulbs.co.uk These would be my choices: http://www.powerbulbs.co.uk/product_detail.asp?prod=43 or http://www.powerbulbs.co.uk/product_detail.asp?prod=91 and http://www.powerbulbs.co.uk/product_detail.asp?prod=89

I'm using H4 hi-lo HIDs in my euro housings. Works very well and the euros actually have a pretty decent cut off (for a reflector type headlight) to use with HIDs. I got them for about $100 with the hi-lo function from DDM tuning.
