1999 E320 Stalls

I wanted to move this to the top. Our 1999 E320 stalls, usually when it is cold but occasionally after driving highway speeds for 10-15 miles and happens when turning and is dangerous. In the thread below, a couple of replies suggested it could be the crank position sensor. I have had it in the shop for other service and had them scan but they get no codes. Is the cps the only or just the most likely culprit?? Thanks!!
