1999 E320 Fuel Gauge

Since we had our a.c worked on, the fuel gauge will at times fall below 1/8(?) of a tank )with plenty of gas in the tank) and cause the low fuel warning light to come on. It happened again awhile ago and there is about 3/4 of a tank in it now. What should I look for?? Thanks!!
