E320 Defroster

I saw a thread below about a problem with blower/vents and it reminded me of a question I have on our 1999 E320. When we put the defroster on, it only runs high and the controls will not reduce the blower level. Any ideas??

THats how its designed. If you want defrost you can select it by the mode buttons, but just hitting the defrost will force fan to high and output will be heat

E320 Defroster

Yeah D97, I went and read the manual and it says you have to turn off the recirculating air button . I did and now I can control the fan speed like I can when the a/c is on.
