why are w210 headlights differ
mine e300 (99) has 2 plastic look like a fork where the main headlight plug goes and i just bought a pre 00 w210 headlight and it doesnt have any
why is that? does anyone know what i am talking about

Not really, but there are differences between US and Euro versions.

The 2000+ up models got a slight body make over from the 1996-99 models.
There were OVER 100 changes made to re-freshen that body. Many exterior body parts will NOT interchange,
