W126 Guide-rod-mount replacement?
When installing new wheel bearings today...I realized the passenger-side guide rod "mount/bushing" was moving back and forth a bit causing a "clunking" sound...Can the guide rod "mount/bushing" be replaced with out removing the complete mount/housing/assembly?? Id like to replace just the guide rod "mount/bushing" alone if possible.

You need to remove the housing assembly & then remove the thrust bushing.
