Fuel Filter Location - '96 C280?
Title says it all. I want to replace the fuel pump relay and the fuel filter. I know where the relay is but no clue where the fuel filter is located? Engine compartment or tucked away in the trunk area? Any help would be appreciated.

By the right rear wheel, near the fuel pump. You need to remove the plastic cover.

when you say near the right rear wheel do you mean inside the fenderwell behind the innerfender cover? To get to this you would need to remove the wheel and the innercover???
