have used Max Life in multiple cars over multiple years.... no problem. I change fluid and filters about every 35-45k... i know that's a wide range...the fluid always looks good coming out..... the filter always looks good too...

i always make sure i drain the torque converter. This for my 124's and my 140

I can’t find anything local in any of the parts store locally. So I’m gonna use valvoline max life just to get the conductor plate job done tomorrow. Let it flush then drain and get some shell 134.

ATF+4 from chrysler also works in these. The tranmission shift behaviour is pretty unique with it though - It shifts quite crisp.

Maxlife is cheaper and works great, I would fill with maxlife and do regular 40K miles ATF changes as usual.

mobil one syn. atf is what I've used for 10 years
