Who has "resoldered" the circuit board in their MAF?
Related thread I started came to the conclusion that I may have a bad connection in the MAF sensor. I have a 94 C280. Bosch part 0 280 217 500. If you did do this, what part was loose/broken and how did it respond to the repair?

Never done a MAF on this type car, but really this is more of a general question so I will attempt to answer.
A broken solder joint will cause intermittent electrical connection, and if that is indeed your problem, and you re-solder it correctly, it will fix the problem. If you're not sure about your soldering skills, it would be a good idea to have somebody proficient in soldering to do it for you. It's easy to make things worse if you aren't skilled at soldering. To know if this is your problem, you have to take it apart and inspect it. All the anecdotes in the world cannot confirm your problem. |
You could also just buy a new one from FastLane.
