how do i insert a picture into my post?

How do i insert a pic into my post? i tried the IMG button and it gives me some javascript dialog box. What do i type into that box?

You need to have the image posted on your web site somewhere as a first step. You can have it at your own web site, or at one of the on line photo albums, but these sometimes don't work very well. You don't really upload a picture to MercedesShop - you actually are giving a link to the site where your picture is stored. Once you have the pictur stored somewhere, postin (linking, actually) instructions are in the faq section on vb codes at the top of the page, or click the link below. Good luck!

Initially, it was for me too. I was quite intimidated by it all! And it took me forever to get pictures on here... but once I got the hang of it... it was (and is) as easy as can be.

Too bad I lost my digicam a few weeks ago........

It is kinda hard to find a site that does not charge for posting pictures for linking. I know geogities will not allow it. Honesty used to be free but now they charge.

Check with your ISP, they may allow you 5 or 10 megs of space free. This is space to host your personal web page etc. I use mine strictly for pictures at the moment.
