Yay!! ASR light again.

Swapped the front bumper cover and also was blowing leaves last weekend with my new 265mph blower. The car sat for an entire week, and I was blowing leaves out from under the car. Last night, accelerated with spirit from a lagging stoplight, took off and then wham! The old ASR light I hadn't seen in over a year, followed by limp. I recycled the ignition after I got off the road, and it went away.

Is there any chance I could have knocked or blown a wheel sensor with either of my 2 activities?

One of the nice things about completing a profile is that the folks that are trying to assist you don't have to keep asking WHAT KIND OF CAR, WHAT MODEL, WHAT YEAR?

Might I suggest you put those bits into your profile or signature? Please??

Wow, haha, yes, I truly blew that one. I posted about the car in another thread, and for some reason I got them confused

I know the 126's quite well and had some suggestions - nothing I can do to help with a 124 though. Sorry.

The ASR systems should be similar.

The 126, IIRC, has a connection on the differential. I'd check that plug. Also, the ABS sensors might be included and need a clean hub to work best. You might have gotten the notches on the front hub dirty. An air gun should help to clean the gunk out of the grooves.
