Well I took the back seats off because they just weren't fitting right, they were really loose and I though I would just take them off and put them back on right. I found the typical dirt, wrappers, ect but I noticed under the black insulation sheet a body panel it seemed like was loose. So I took the insulation sheet off and I find the back has been cut... I was like "wow... really?" so I go get my dad and show him and the first thing he says is it was probably used for drug trafficking.. I don't want to believe that but the past owners were pretty ghetto and we live a couple hours way form the Mexican border. I don't really see any other reason to make a cut and hole right behind the gas tank and seat.
Regardless of weather it was or not, how do I go about patching this up? ![]() ![]() I did a carfax on it and it has a clean history. So wtf! lol

Didn't you mention in anther thread that the gas tank was out of place or something? Maybe they had to cut the panel to get the tank out, or maybe they had to move the tank to make room for more drugs.
I'd leave it like that, you never know when you'll be out of work and looking for a little extra cash ![]() |

To be sure that no coke was left wrapped in saran wrap and slathered with vaseline and stuffed inside the cushions, you may also wanna open up the seats themselves! LOL

A less nefarious possibility is they cut the seat back for amps and subwoofers to get more sound in the cabin. I'm not a stereo guy, so I can't say what the impact would be.
If you're really nervous you might want to contact your local PD and ask them to run a drug dog over the car. In the 80's they offered to do this for Porsches and M-Bs in SoCal so you wouldn't get popped inadvertantly. |

The drug dog thing is something I'd do, could save a lot of time and paperwork later. I've heard of one dog in training that gave positives on a practice car. They were ready to drum him out of the service when an officer actually checked and found a stash that had been "missed"

I don't know what I'd do, probably be in major shock if a drug smelling dog found a kilo in the car.
![]() That'd be some bs ![]()

Nothing a little JB weld can't fix.

We actually took it to a body shop to see how much it would be to weld back together. The guy wants $200.. does that sound reasonable? Or a little pricy? I wasn't sure how much stuff like this costs.
