Follow up. I have substantially improved the idle by cleaning and lubing the Idle Control Valve (ICV valve).

The idle is not as smooth as it should be, but it is MUCH better now. I still think the OVP may have been questionable as prior to replacement the car threw occassional SRS and ABS cel's which have as of now yet to return.
