Air/fuel metering

Is this something that can be monitored on something like my 450 SEL?
any point to having an A/F meter?

You could get a Air Flow meter & install a O2 sensor.

That is the way I set fuel mixture on my race car for years.

Yeah, I don't drive a race car.. but I guess it would help me monitor what's going on wit my Fuel distributor. I guess more information aside from Oil and temp would be handy.

Just make sure it's a wideband O2 sensor, not the regular kind. Widebands are the only ones that actually detect your A/F ratio; the rest work off of "counts".
