lambda adjustment - 87 300E?
lambda adjustment - would this be necessary if the car was adjusted for sea level and is now a mile up? I thought that these adjustments were done automatically with the jetting???? (on board computer stuff). But since this car is an 87, and I’m not a car expert, I can change the spark plugs and diagnose problems, but when you get real technical on me...
Anyway, anyone with info, I'd be grateful. Gracias! |

An easy way to know is to have it checked. Eventually you will have to get to know a tech/shop, so here is a perfect opportuniy. You may want to get the engine looked over and the lambda checked.
Most of these did have altitude compensation. Without the book in front of me, I can't say for sure.

Gracias!
Thanks, I will take it into a shop asap, too bad I'm not close to you, otherwise I'd have it right over. Unfrtntly, I'll have to drive 40 miles to the closest shop
