I agree. The crank position sensor would be a more likely cause than the ICM.

SO I go out to clean up some of the snow again, cuz it keeps snowing here in Boston an I say ah why not let's see it the 400 will start! Put the key in crank it BANG starts first crank??? So I let it run for a while runs fine,take it for a ride around the block fine! Shut it off then crank it again and it doesn't start! Sounded like the starter is going. Then I tried it again and it fired right up?

This Jekyl and Hyde behavior has me thinking it's a bad wire harness. It's a known problem on these cars. Has your's ever been replaced? Read up on the topic. There's lots of info on this subject here and at 500Ecstasy. (You need to join us over there too by the way.) I'd link you but the wife is screaming at me that we have to go.

Car died again,,,,it got real cold here again and now it won't start!!!!!!!!!!

So same old song got cold won't start AGAIN, so I talk to a Benz Mechanic he said check spark at the coil wires on both caps, AHH HAA passanger side coil wire has no spark!!!! Drivers side is good, so this shold be the coil I would think?? If the CPS was bad could it cause this ???
