Shocks in E430 Sport are badged "H7" Anybody know what band these are
I've been having difficulty trying to get the correct shocks with certainty for 2001 E430 Sport. Many vendor's W210 shocks exclude the sport model. The current shocks have "H7" on them. Bilstein H7's are truck shocks, so I'm wondering what brand shocks these are. Anyone know? I kinda think they are factory, but not for sure.

Should be Sachs number 124 391 (Boge 36-A18-0).
Latest MB number is 210-326-21-00.

I am slightly confused by the part numbers. I looked up the part numbers for the shocks on a 2002 E430 Sport on the EPC. I get P/N 210 320 33 30 for the front and 210 326 21 00 for the rear.
Those part numbers are different that those listed for my 1999 E430 standard. However, if I recall, there was no difference in springs, shocks and anti-roll bars between the standard and sport models on the 210 chassis. Can anyone explain or correct my assumptions? |
