Rear washer not 'squirting'

NOW is the time this feature is needed here in Ohio! This car is new to me in August so not sure of the history on this feature - all I know is there's no fluid hittin' the window when I push the little button!

Where should I start? The car is a "well cared for" and it really is evident. There is fluid in the rear reservoir (gotta love the spell-checker !)

Thanks for your comments...

Check for current to the electric pump in the reservoir, then for clear passage of the hose, and the nozzle. You're right about Ohio, but it's all the nasty brine and salt used here that make the driving experience absolutely uncivilized.

Chances are the wiring harness to the tailgate has failed. At the driver-side hinge.
