On A 2100 Mile trip...NEED HELP!!!!!

Hello all, i'm on my first leg of a 2100 mile trip from San Diego to Atlanta driving my 280TE. She was doing just fine until i pulled into a gas station near Tucson and found that a small pin sized hole in the sls pump hose has caused a major breakdown of the system. Fluid shot out all over the engine! I Never had any issues with the system before this. I think my load may have been too heavy! I will cut my load in half! Question.. if i replace the hose and refill the fluid will i be able to continue my trip? not 100% sure, but i think the pump is okay, do i have to bleed the system? Are there any good shops or members in the Tucson area that may be able to help? I was told there is a pick and pull yard in the Phoenix area, would a used one be okay? PLEASE HELP!!!!

SLS system is self bleeding. Running at 1500 RPM for 5-10minutes (after repairing) will do.

Tucson shops, from the shops discussion:
Mark at Benztek on Speedway east of Swan

European Service at 2440 N First Ave 520-321-1640 (good for older MBs - several recommendations)

Group One Motorwerks
Stone just north of the northwest corner of Stone and Prince

About the Tucson shops mentioned.

Keith Brooks at European Service is probably the best choice for finding a used line. He's got a good crew and is a most enjoyable individual.

Bart at Motorwerks has a good crew of wrenches also but he doesn't have the stable of parts cars (yet!) Keith has.

Mark (Benztech) is a great wrench but he is a one man shop so wait times can be a little long.

Craig's on East Grant Road is also another option. They're located around the 4000 block of Grant Road..

A used one will be 25 years old, too. That is the problem.

The notion "never gave any problems before" is patently ridiculous.

It will never give any (similar) problems ever if it's maintained, and things like replacing 25-year-old hoses with new ones are part of sensible maintenance.

True 'dat but if you don't really have the time to wait 2-5 days for a new one then your options are a bit limited.

Fixed!

Well, after searching a few hours, i found a small shop in Casa Grande near Arizona City called - Industrial Hose Repair - 1784 n.Canal- 520-836-8884 These guys were my saviors! Luckily i still had some fluid left in the reserve, enough to hold up the rear end. I broke out the Duct tape to fix the small hole in the hose, then slowly drove the car to the shop, thankfully it was only a few miles away! They took my old hose fittings and replaced the hose with a 4000 psi hydraulic hose. I could not find the MB fluid, so they used regular hydraulic fluid, They did excellent work! Got me back on the road in 1 hour. Now she sits up really nice and i did not even reduce my load. I will try to post a picture of the new hose later.
THANKS EVERYONE!
