95 c280...lack of info B.S.!

WTF...I fix all kinds of cars and have for decades and although I love benzs I'm getting real tired of the b.s. that involves getting any info to fix anything without being charged by some greedy bastard or maybe an absolutely **** parts diagram drawn by stevie wonder....On top of it this car is nice but still only worth a few grand or so... if you can sell it... and they still want $1000. bucks for any stupid ass part that they poorly designed in the first place and since you can't get info they hope you break something else trying to figure it out....The 01 a4 quattro I finished a couple of months ago was easier and offered much more tech info for FREE...This 95 c280 car sat around for 12 years or so in limbo..after fighting and eventaully winng many battles I'm finally up to the point of being concerned about the no doubt bad fuel left in tank for so long, after finding the pump to be junk/seized I replaced that for $250. Thinking ok thats to be expected and went on to try and pump remaing fuel out of tank thru dissconected fuel line(s) at engine....direct 12v to pump....well It pumped approximately a 1/2 gallon then flow stopped but pump ran on I shut it down and waited, then tried again....after several tries determined there must be a plugged pickup screen which my dealer parts guy says there is one of but try blowing it out...so I blow out gas line to engine from pump and alls well, then I blow out line from pump to tank...gas pours out return line at engine...the storys quite a bit longer but one issue was that when initially dissconnecting the fuel line (tank to new pump) there was some pressure...even tho the the feed and return lines were disconnected..and no gas comes out of feed line from tank....wtf....Ok I'l find a diagram of this whole system and see w.t.f. is up...good luck!......Oh and just try and get that friggen supply line off the gas tank!....screw anything up and that'll cost more than the car's value...I know it's a stretch but anyone here know anything about where to get a real operational diagram of the fuel system? or any pertenant info?..I'm about to go ahead and pull the sending units out and dump the 12 gallons or so of stale gas all over me the shop and maybe the furnace or compressor will kick on and blow this place to haiti....that'd solve the benz and my problems......thanks? now...cliff
