Odometer Not working - Question and Picture
So as i mentioned in my alarm thread, my odometer stopped working ..
I just took it apart to find that a cog (in the picture) was pushed out of place... I pushed it back into place and all seems good .. Do i need to do anything else? how can i be sure that the trip meter and the mileage meter are aligned correctly? http://i893.photobucket.com/albums/a...Q/IMG_3961.jpg And here is the cog... http://i893.photobucket.com/albums/a...Q/IMG_3963.jpg Do i need to do anything else while i am in there? i am changing the main lighting bulbs since they seem to be original. I am also thinking about spraying some contact cleaner inside the rheostat/dimmer while i am in there.... I do have some white mold spots inside the surround...any ideas about cleaning? or is not worth the hassle? Thanks, would appreciate a quick response since i need to put it back together today ! Edit: that green cog if for the mileage, is there supposed to be another one in there for the trip? i can't figure out how they are both connected... thanks, |
