M103 2.6 no power high rpm

My Indi has a car with a M103 2.6 that has no power at 4000rpm or above.
It runs fine until it reaches 60mls/h, below idle and acceleration are fine.
In neutral it revs fine until 4000rpm

Cleaned cat, not plugged
Valve timing is ok

He changed the following parts (most from his spare pars collection)
  • Ignition coil
  • K- Jetronic computer and fuel distributor
  • Fuel filter

Any ideas?

Rob

Should really get a fuel pressure gauge on it and check out the fuel pressures. Also could ready the duty cycle off the computer and see if it is reporting any faults.

This sort of behaviour can also be caused by a partial blocked up fuel inlet strainer on the distributor or simply a bad fuel pump. Gauges are required to check the pressure.
