Cam & lifter set up for 190E 2.6

I'm looking for the torque specifications for the cam shaft bearing cap bolts and what shims I should select to get the correct lifter/valve clearance.

I'm helping out my father in law on his project car which had a terrible rattle which we found to be an excessively warn cam shaft. I now have a good second hand one, but needed some info on putting it back the right way.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Remember that prior to late 89 they used the "old" style camshaft and rocker arms -- Most likely the reason why yours was worn I can assume. Do you know if you bought the old or updated ones?
