Ordered and received a fuel filter for my 84 500sel.
After researching, due to the new filter being much larger, I can only find this larger filter which will require modification of the bracket.

Anyone else have this problem!

Strange. Either you're getting the wrong part or somebody swapped out the pump and or bracket from a different car. Pics?
